Conficker Eye Chart has been devised out to be the best tool or method to check whether you have been affected by the Conficker. It simply tries to download and show images hosted on some anti-virus and computer security sites. When you are not able to see any or all of the images, then it shows that you are not able to access those domains.

Conficker blocks you from accessing hundreds of domains related to computer security, and this is being used to identify whether you are affected by the Conficker. You can check out the Conficker Eye Chart in many sites, all of which originated from the Conficker Working Group site.

You may also want to download the McAfee AVERT Stinger Conficker to keep it as a precautionary tool so that you yourself could use it, or give it to others when you or anyone else is affected by the Conficker. And, please note that the tool is kept upto date, and so you don't need to worry about the description talking about the coming of April 1st.

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.
